Children Portraits Macro Documentary Architecture
These images were shot over a period of about three years, during which I photographed the group of young dancers in House of NORA, who specialise in the urban dance style known as Waacking, a style of dance which originated in the gay clubs of the US in the 1970s. The dance style is characterised by waacking (fast, crisp arm movements), poses and expression of emotions. The images were shot variously during dance sessions, workshops and at clubs.
